Shanghai National Technology Transfer Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences ("Shanghai NTTC") is a service institution without legal person status, which was co-authorized by Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Commerce (Originally called "the National Economy and Trade Commission"). It specifically works on technology transfer and technology outcome application.
The purposes of Shanghai NTTC are:
- To promote key industries or key enterprises in combination with Research Institutes’ resources, such as scientific technologies、talents and information, through enforcing the collaboration with other CAS branches and NTTCs;
- To organize、guide and facilitate the technology transfer and technology outcome application in CAS Research Institutes , through integration of various resources in society in virtue of industrial incubators and cooperation platforms established by local government and CAS;
- To integrate technology outcome with market economy, and achieve a new technology transfer system which is wide open and supports the technology sustainable recycling and efficient transfer.
Shanghai NTTC is guided by the requirements of the whole country and society. It stands in the Yangtz Triangle District, and radiates to the whole society. Shanghai NTTC will excavate and integrate scientific resources, and promote technology projects in combination with investment capital.
